The capstone portfolio is
developed in lieu of a comprehensive examination. Therefore,
students should take quite seriously the development of their
personal/professional portfolio. Documentation of competence may
be established through any of the following: course papers,
videotapes, photographs, transcribed or taped interviews,
supervisor evaluations, student evaluations, program documents
(fliers, workbooks, handouts, etc.), program evaluations, survey
results, needs assessment analyses, and so forth. Students
should strive for creativity in selecting and developing items
for their portfolios.
The Portfolio should begin with a
home page including
links to: Competencies, Resume, and a Personal Philosophy
